JAFE Decorating Partners with Darke County Economic Development for STEAM Camp Week

Greenville, OH – July 18, 2024 – JAFE Decorating, a leader in custom glassware decoration, proudly participated in the Darke County Economic Development’s STEAM Camp week, an event dedicated to fostering interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics among young students. The camp, held from July 15th-19th, hosted 27 enthusiastic 7th and 8th graders eager to explore the world of STEM.

As part of the STEAM Camp week, JAFE Decorating opened its doors to these bright young minds, providing them with a unique opportunity to experience hands-on activities within our plant. The students engaged in various interactive sessions, including painting glass, mixing colors, operating spray gun robotics, discovering different wax and fragrance types, and learning the intricacies of screen printing.

The plant tour at JAFE Decorating was designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the various processes involved in custom glassware decoration. From the artistic elements of painting and mixing colors to the technical aspects of robotics and screen printing, the students were immersed in a world where creativity and technology intersect.
